Several years ago, a well-loved model horses artist named Judy Rene Pope started this pretty little mare for Resins by Randy. Judy died an untimely death and was not able to finish her, so we asked artist Rebecca Turner to help us out. Rebecca turned "Damiana" into a brite and crisp little Wal-Ara mare. The Welara is a cross between an Arabian and a Welsh Pony and the result is a wonderful, small statured mount that is a joy to behold and popular with children. These are terrible pictures as you can't see the amazing detail and veining that Rebecca has sculpted in. I'll have some painted copies for sale at some point. Damiana stands 7 1/2" tall and measures 10" long, nose to extended tail. She is cast by Resins by Randy in solid white artists quality resin and is an exclusive piece made only for the benifit of TIBBP!
Damiana is a female tonic herb, generally found in the Brazilian rain forest and has been used for years by women world wide.
Damiana costs $125. for an unpainted cast, plus $12. shipping inside the US. If you would like, we can help you find a model horse artist to paint your horse any color you choose.
$50. of your purchase goes to buy feed and supplies for our rescues! Thanks so much for your help.
