Rembrant, Breton Heavy Draft, by Janet Edington

Shown above painted dapple rose grey by Kim Burd.

Shown above, painted blue roan by Yvonne Davey.

Shown here painted by Cindy Williams.

Now HERE is one heavy Drafter! This mighty and muscular stallion was sculpted by Janet Edington. Janet is new to us, but we sure hope to see more of her beautiful work. Rembrant is a strong, powerful horse that actually could represent several heavy European draft breeds, like the Highland*, from Scotland, the Finnish Universal* from Finland, the Brabant*, from Belgium, or the Ardennais* from France.
Janet Edington is an accomplished artist and this horse is a fine representative of her amazing work. Pictured here, is the original sculpture, and one picture of a resin cast. We'll have some painted pictures up here soon. Rembrant is traditional sized, hollow cast with our usual steel reinforcements. He costs $185. for unpainted, plus $10. shipping inside the US.

Sherry Clayton painted Rembrandt to a flashy spotted Noriker stallion while Gudrun Schmidt captured the look of a stately Brabant. What a beauty!

Here's a grand Champion Rembrandt painted by Yvonne Davey, and owned by Debbie Coffman. Congratulations, Debbie, Yvonne, and Janet!
